The new SCORPION is the most sporty tire ever created for asphalt, thanks to its grip and maneuverability, and can also tackle light off-road terrains.

• Designed for modern adventure and crossover motorcycles, very versatile and usable in different contexts, the new SCORPION Trail III is the result of the latest advances in terms of technologies and materials used by the R&D department.
• SCORPION Trail III is an on-road enduro tire, therefore, a product primarily intended for road use, but also allowing for tackling dirt roads.
• On asphalt, SCORPION Trail III tires can offer a very sporty behavior to the rider, thanks to high levels of grip and maneuverability, excellent stability even at full load, and wet performance similar to a Sport-Touring tire.
• When leaving the asphalt for dirt roads, the constant alternation of central and transversal grooves under the footprint provides control and traction.

Tread Design:

• The tread design of SCORPION Trail III is an evolution of its predecessor, SCORPION Trail II, with the goal of improving stability and driving precision.
• To achieve this goal, the winning scheme of the characteristic design of the DIABLO sport range was revised and integrated into an on-road enduro product.
• The grooves in the central tread, inspired by the striking and iconic FLASH™ present in the DIABLO range, allow water evacuation and lateral stability on softer terrains, while providing even wear.
• Finally, the integration of robust central grooves and shoulder grooves has been designed to offer good guidance and excellent traction even on dirt roads.
• These features have allowed the SCORPION Trail III to increase the filled/void ratio compared to its predecessor, thus offering more rubber in contact with the asphalt and, consequently, an advantage in terms of road performance.

Compounds:

• SCORPION Trail III offers new compounds, with 100% silica for radial sizes, both for the front and rear tires, for excellent performance on both wet and dry surfaces.
• The rears are bi-compound, with a soft compound on the shoulders with various plasticizing resins that optimize grip in curves, and a harder compound in the central tread similar to the one used for the front tire, designed to offer high stability, wear resistance, and mileage.

Structures:

• Front structures derive from Supersport experience and enhance driving and grip; in particular, radial sizes feature a construction with a 0-degree steel belt that provides excellent stability even at high speeds.
• Highly rigid structures of the rear tires allow sporty riding in all applications and provide high stability in all load conditions.

Profiles:

• Profiles derive from Pirelli's experience in Sport Touring tires with a multi-radius approach that provides stability at high speeds, high mileage, and a sporty feel with progressive behavior.
