Installation: First, carefully clean the installation surface (a low-residue solvent such as acetone is suggested). Using the adhesive strip, install the device in a position affected by engine vibration (e.g. the outer part of the chassis), but not too close to hot components (e.g. the exhaust). To avoid accidental detachments, cable ties can be used to fix the device to the vehicle. To check a proper installation, start the engine and wait 8-10 seconds. The display will switch on, showing the working hours and the blinking dot (if positioned correctly).
