Pro Taper 1/3 Waffle Grips
Those Racers and mechanics started with a standard 1/2 waffle grip and cut one row off the waffle pattern.
This increased the diamond pattern area and reduced the waffle grid without increasing the overall outer diameter.
Now ProTaper offers this factory inspired set up to help riders' hands grasp more grip surface area with less pressure, with only the fingers coming in contact with the waffle grid.
